A dog will eat carnivorous human food, ; meat offal, fish, eggs, milk, be it raw or cooked, without any ill effects.
To us humans it is high protein food.
A dog may eat root vegetables,, such as potatoes, carrots or turnips. However, they will probably refuse green surface vegetables and definitely refuse acidic fruits ( apples, Oranges etcs.,)
Bread, rice and oats are OK!!!.
Give a dog a 'BEEF SHIN' bone to chew and gnaw at. This gives it something to do, which is pleasurable, cleans its teeth, and provides roughage (make the animal defaecate(pooh!!) easily.
Beef shin bones granulate and do not form shards. Chicken and game bones form shards on which they may choke.
