If you live in a particularly hot or humid area then bin it. otherwise.... it won't kill you.
That depends how long they have been unrefrigerated. If they've been sitting out for more than 2 hours, I wouldn't use them.
that happened to me... the pharmacist told me that if it has been unrefrigerated for more than 12 hours, it has lost effectiveness and a new prescription is needed. Unrefrigerated for less than 12 hours he said would still be OK.
Yes.
After a few hours the meat begins to go bad.
Ideally, it shouldn't be left unrefrigerated for more than an hour after it has been dressed.
If it's still sealed up, overnight is safe. If it's been opened, I would through it out after a few hours.
I have been in there as early as 11 and as late as 2pm and they were still serving lunch.
That would depend completely on how long they have been unrefrigerated and if there has been any bacterial growth or contamination. If you don't know, it would be safest to discard the food.
There have been countless time that i have forgotten my lunch.
If the ham was supposed to have been refrigerated it and you left it out for 12 hours, then you mishandled the food. Without additional information, no food safety person is going to tell you it is safe.
YES. Right away, it can become very YUCKY!!! (It can also make you sick). If it goes moldy, smells funny, or separates. All mayonnaise is is oil and eggs, and because eggs go bad when not refrigerated, this will probably happen within a few hours. Never keep mayonnaise if it's been unrefrigerated all night, even if it appears fine. However, if you jsut left it out from lunch until dinner, you should be fine.</P>
Not a good idea. Unless the manufacturer's instructions say it can be left unrefrigerated, it should have been refrigerated.
