there's several things that can be done, pour instant coffee on the area, or sew the top and bottom of the skin together three to four stitches will do you can use regular tread for sewing fabric soaked in alcohol first, and start your dog on antibiotics, amoxilin 250 twice a day if you see signs of infection, but the easiest thing to do is take him to the vet.

Direct pressure with a clean cloth or gauze. The puppy should be taken to the vet. If the tail was not docked properly it can become infected and a source of constant pain with the remaining bone poking out as the skin attempts to heal. This is why a vet should dock the tail--not someone at home who is not trained properly in canine anatomy. People who do this type of thing should be in jail for animal cruelty, but that's just an opinion.

You should ask a vet as soon as possible. Keep it bandaged so the dog will not bite it and make it worse. My friend had to get her dog's tail amputated after it got caught in a file cabinet.

What help Stop bleeding?

There are no bugs that help to stop bleeding. There are parasites, that are bugs, that feed off of blood although there is no benefit to humans. Leeches have been used since the 1800s to help stop bleeding. The leeches are used to drink excess blood until a vein is able to repair itself to stop bleeding.
