I strictly want to use the hard drive for music/ movies now and am trying to free up as much room as possible but is it okay to delete all the set up files and stuff like that.... I put it in a hard drive enclosure for those wondering
No, they are two different programs
The browsing in Windows XP is located next to the home button. It is however impossible to delete the browsers history without an external program
Windows 7 Turn off "hide protected operating system files" then you can see the recycle.bin folder and delete it.
windows task manager to close some of programs
If you want to remove add on effects you've downloaded, simply locate the files in the Windows Movie Maker folder (in Programs) and delete them.
Go to your control panel and click on Programs and Features. Double click Windows Live Essentials. If Windows needs permission click Continue. Click on Remove pone or more Windows Live programs. Check the programs you want to remove and click uninstall.
Go to Contorl Panel>Programs and Features>Scroll down and you'll find Windows live Hotmail>Uninstall<
Shift+Delete
Yes you can, Windows live is not part of Windows itself. For example Windows xp home addition has nothing to do with Windows live messenger. You can safely remove it without worrying about it affecting windows.
Use Add&Remove Programs or Programs and Features in the Windows control panel. You will also have to remove the plug-in in your web browser
plug the usb cable into the unit. windows will detect it as an external storage device. click on it in windows explorer and it will list all files on the device. find the files you want to delete, highlight them and hit delete , just like you would to delete any files from a hard drive or other storage.
To uninstall Windows Movie Maker (or any programs):> Click Start> Control Panel> Programs> Programs and FeaturesA list will be generated. Find the program you want to uninstall and click Uninstall.
