What can you do about a 1992 Mitsubishi Magna TR executive auto that seems to be stuck in third speed?

the TCU has gone into fail safe
so you should have third and reverse
you may be looking at replacing the tcu
check the auto oil level
then the colour (bright red )
then the fuses
if both are ok then the problem is electrical
pick up a second tcu from a wrecker and try that
