What can you do for life size candyland?

Well, what I did for my Life Size Candyland party, envolved a lot of work, but it was really fun! First of all, I cut a bunch of cardboard into little squares, and spraypainted each cardboard square, to make the spaces. Then I used the actual cards for the cards in the game. I had two helpers come around and bring the cards to the kids, but most of the spaces had activitys, so the kids wouldn't get board waiting for the helpers to come around. For example, if you landed on a space it might say: "Jump until you pick your next card" or "Run in circles around you space". This way, the kids weren't board. Secondly, I had live characters! If you picked a certain card near that character you would meet them! For example, at Mr. Mints station, if you picked a blue, orange, or red card, you were able to meet him. It was diferent for each character. In additon, lots of candy was handed out to the kids! Lastly, I added little games into the whole Candyland. For example, grandma nut wasn't a live character, so if you got to her station, you had to go on a little treasure hunt to find a styrofoam nut. Also at plumpys station, there was a poster of plumpy, and what you had to do, was find the purple ducktape plum with your name on it, put on a blindfold, and put the plum in plumpys hand. And last but not least, at Jollys station, the was a table with a bunch of gumdrops in it. What the kids had to do was guess how many gumdrops were in the jar and the kid who got it correct got all the gumdrops! I hope I helped! ;)
