Unfortunately facial hair growth occurs at all different ages and the boys who get theirs last may be teased. I am afraid it is just a case of waiting. My husband had very little facial or body hair when I met him aged 20 and it was another 5 years or so before he really got any. Our 20 year old son already has quite a lot of chest hair and a small beard. Our 17 year old son shaves his upper lip about every 2 weeks whereas his best friend can grow a beard in a week. I would add that if you have no other signs of puberty you should see a doctor, but if it is only facial hair growth being a bit slow you are just going to have to laugh it off and say what a fortune you are saving on razor blades. Some dudes never get beards. No big deal what your friends say 'cause there are way more important things to think about at 16, like where are you going to college or how are you going to get ready to make money? Besides, almost no girls want guys with beards. If girls wanted guys with beards then guys wouldn't spend four billion dollars a year on razors and shaving cream. I say dump your "friends" and find a girlfriend. That will shut them up about beards.
