First, learn to use your diaphragm to speak instead of just your upper lungs. Breathe deep breaths and use that air to project with. You might try putting your hand on your diaphragm to be sure it's really doing the work.

Next. try lowering the tone of your voice. A deeper voice automatically projects more, and many people speak in too high a tone and sound shrill and nasal.
