To swim during your period you would need to use internal menstrual products in order to stop the blood from getting in the water - although menstrual blood is no less hygienic than other vaginal fluids, no one wants to swim through your menstrual flow. You can use any of the following options:
Menstrual cups are the best option as they're far safer than tampons, this also means that unlike tampons they are safe to use during light flow. Menstrual cups are also best as unlike tampons they don't increase cramps, absorb water, have anything showing externally, or leak like tampons, so best for swimming.
You can wear water shoes to hide your toes while you are swimming.
Yes it's gross -____-
if you want everyone to see you're on your period, then yeah
Yes! of course a girl can exercise on her period. If you/she does any type of swimming then a tampon will be in need while swimming. If your more athletic then a pad or panty liner is probably the most comfortablest.
There's absolutelyno reason to hide your period. Being a woman is nothing to be ashamed of, so no reason to hide the fact that you're a woman from your friends - guess what, they probably already know that you menstruate. Trying to hide menstruation like it's something shameful just makes your periods all the more difficult to deal with, frankly it's silly to try to hide your period.
You don't have to use tampons to swim while on your period. You can use menstrual cups and softcups for swimming, as well as safer than tampons cups can be worn with light flow which tampons can't, menstrual cups also don't leak like other options. You can also simply sit-out of swimming while you're on your period, it's up to you what you use and what you do on your period.
Hide against the wall.
Youre screwed. I've been there
tell them the benefits of having a swimming pool and don't hide the negitives
no you can not go swimming when your period is heavy. When it is at they very end and its not that heavy your period will not stop in the water, but will be held back. Also, if you go swimming and you have your period when you get out of the pool it might start to drip down your leg.
You can, but for the safety of others in the pool {And to avoid embarrassment}, you should use a tampon while in the water.
tampons if you are swimming etc but if in the bath, nothing :)
