what you need first is a REASON. why do you not want to have contact with your mom? if it is because you don't feel safe and comfortable around her , and feel your safety, life, and health is in danger, you contact emergency ppl or somebody you trust and takl to tthem abbout it. after the talk, see what the trusted person says. if they say to, contact authorities and your mother might be separated from you. do you have a dad or other relatives? go to and talk with them, and also speak with your mother.
If your mother really is an addict and abusive, you should contact the police and child protective services.
yes you can legally leave but you cannot legally rent or sign leases at all. You also cant live under someone elses roof unless they have legally become your guardian. as i found out tonight. so your parents cant legally stop you from leaving but they can stop you from going anywhere.
In this case, you can not force the mother to be in contact with her child, neither can the court, however, you are, and by all means, entitled to child support. All you need to do is, file for it.
You should tell him that you respect that he is close to his mother, but you think that by him telling his mother everything that goes on is hurting your relationship. Just ask him to either stop or to have him ask his mother to stop getting so involved in your relationship.
If you divorced your spouse but never stopped living together. The divorce became final after the waiting period ended if you did nothing to stop it. You are legally divorced. If you want to be legally married and have all the legal benefits of marriage then you must get remarried. If you divorced your spouse but never stopped living together. Who legally adopted the child? If the mother's new husband legally adopted the child, then the biological father's parental rights had to be terminated first. Which means that the biological father is NOT obligated to pay child support anymore. The new adoptive father has taken on all rights and responsibilities for the child.
Explain that it is over and no more contact - that is it. Keep your distance is all aspects.
Most likely not unless your mother is legally mentally incompetent to understand what her affairs or if the stepson is coercing her into doin it. Otherwise she is an adult with all the rights to do whatever she wants, just as you are. Existing children, per se, have no rights to object to an adoption by their parent.
Contact all her prior insurance agents, familiy agents, look thru all paperwork, contact former employers.
For a traffic stop? Yes. Any violation that a police officer can make contact with you for (which is all of them) is probably cause for a trafffic stop.
They progress in degrees - starting with a "social contact" (which technically is not really a "stop" at all) - progressing to an investigative stop (i.e.: a Terry stop) then finally, arrest.
I don't think so at all.
Depends entirely on which country you're in ! Remember this forum is NOT exclusive to your country - it's accessed all over the planet ! Added: In the US, the 16 year old would be considered a runaway. If she wants to get away from an abusive mother legally, she should contact the authorities and have herself removed from her mothers' custody.
