The end of the world, a question asked by many. Honestly, if you can stop the world from ending you will eventually know how. However, I believe that no one can stop the inevitable. Really all that you can do is just live each and every day like it is your last. Honestly I believe the world has already ended and we are experiencing the apocalypse right now, I have thought this for almost 5 years now....and I'm a Christian
Because one day the sun will run out of fuel and become a dwarf star. When this happens, everything in it's orbit, including Earth, will be sucked into a black hole and destroyed.
This wont happen for another few billion years.
There really is nothing to do. Even a global effort will not stop it. As humans it's hard to imagine not having this world and all that's in it. And it is very hard to embrace our own mortality. So live a good life and know that most things are not forever.
Worrying is a bad habit just like any other one, and worrying about horrible things that may or may not happen in the near future can be changed. Whenever you get a worrying thought like "What if the end of the world happens in the next few minutes?" you have to tell yourself "Stop." Actually say that to yourself - out loud if you need to - because that forces your mind to actually stop thinking for a second to see what you're doing.
Once you get your brain to shut up for a minute, think of something realistic and honest - and it's best if you actually use the word "realistic," too because it forces you to think logically. "REALISTICALLY, the end of the world might happen soon, but there is absolutely no way of knowing that, so I'm going to stop thinking about it and concentrate on what I do know" or "REALISTICALLY, nobody knows when the world will end, but it's lasted for all these billions of years, so there's a good chance it's not going to be any time soon" or "REALISTICALLY, nobody can tell the future, and it's just making me miserable trying to do that, so I'm going to think of something happy instead of worrying."
Once you have changed your mental track, focus on whatever you choose to concentrate on so that your brain doesn't slip up and start worrying again. Think very hard about all the good things that are going on in your life, or count your blessings (counting is a great way to concentrate, which is why people count blessings, by the way), or think of 25 things that you have which a homeless person would really like to have. In other words, instead of worrying, think of positive things in your life.
It takes some concentration and practice, but soon you won't be worrying any more!
Nope, you'll still be alive hun ;) I haven't even gotten to college yet so there is no world the world will end before I get through that. Plus if the world does end in 2012 why would anyone need to know anyways, if the world ends you can't prevent it so why freak out about it?

No it will not end the world.
There was no reason for the world to end. There was no catalyst. The world will not end without some catastrophic natural event big enough to end it.
