This movie shows mentality of Chinese people over there girls were just like puppet means they very not having right to fight for their own country but the main lesson given by Mulan is that you must do something different then other person 'be different and fight for right'. In china they use to believe that a women was not strong enough or could not fight. There girls were just like puppet means they were not having right to fight for their own country.

In Chinese history, a woman could stand out to fight for her homeland despite such action was not her duty or was even forbidden in that social setting. That was a struggle between self and collective interests. Great courage was needed to break the cage of social convention. That was one of the Chinese spirits what an old saying refers to 'a vagrant has his duty at the very moment of his country's rise or down.'

Mulan story vs Disney's mulan?

The difference between the original legend and Disney's adaptation of the legend are:In the original legend, her name is Hua Mulan. In the Disney film, Mulan's full name is Fa Mulan. Fa is Cantonese while Hua is Chinese. In the original legend, Mulan has a brother who is too young to be enlisted into the army while in the Disney film, Mulan's brother is not featured. In the original Mulan legend, Mulan uses her father's name Li, and she was never discovered as a female, unlike in the film. The original legend states Hau Mulan fought in the Chinese army for 12 years. It was unlikely she fought that long in the film as she still appears young.

How does Mulan save the emperor of China?

Mulan did not "save" the emperor of China, like the Disney movie portrays. Disguised as a man, she served 10 years in the army in place of her father. The full story can be found here:presentations.pppst.com/mulan.pptIn the movie, Mulan has been abandoned by her army friends once they discovered that she was a woman. However, she is the only one that witnesses the opposing forces survival. She goes to the city, where the emperor and his people are celebrating, and attempts to convince everyone they are in danger. They only believe her when the other soldiers show up. She, with the help of the army, save the emperor.
