It pretty much tastes the same. Water does have taste but doesn't make the taste of gummy bears better or worse
Using a water filter system really does change the taste of tap water. That funny taste is the iron in the water. Using a water filter will remove that funny taste and actually make your water safer.
Pool water is not to be consumed. You shouldn't be considering trying to make it taste better, but trying to keep it clean. The chemicals added to pool water are toxic and should not be ingested. If you DID want to make it taste better, I'm sure several hundred packets of Kool-Aid accompanied by several hundred cups of sugar would do the trick.

Water!!! In pure distilled de-ionised water, it is tasteless. If you drink tap/bottled water there are mineral ions in it, so it will give the water some taste.
The salt will make the rice taste better. It is true that the salt will make the water boil at a slightly higher temperature but the difference is very small.
Water as a solid, in the form of ice, is considered a mineral when it is naturally occurring. Ice in snow banks is considered a mineral but ice cubes you make in your freezer are not a mineral.
Pepper makes savory foods taste better because it stimulates the taste buds and adds aroma.
There are many suggestions out there on how to make a protein shake taste better. One suggestion is to make sure that you are using 100% whey protein.
