Before a volcano erupts for the first time there is magma or molten rock being forced toward the surface. If you see that the volcano already exists then it has already erupted in the past, probably numerous times, even if none of those eruptions have occurred in recorded history.
Well volcanoes can cause alot of damage when it erupts like the smoke is chemical you can die from it and the lava can also burn you.Volcanoes don`t occur much as they used to but anyway lets talk about volcanoes. When a volcano erupts you can see the lava and what happens it gets more hotter and there is hotspots in the volcano and when the volcano erupts they come out as well. After the volcano has erupted it is dead. They shoot out magma (molten rock) with lots of energy. When exposed, the magma is called lava.
No. You see or hear on some shows,"oh, this volcano hasn't erupted since 1907." or something. But then it erupts. Yes, that can happen. A period of a few hundred years isn't very long for a volcano, especially ones that erupt violently. The mountain of a volcano is built up by a series of eruptions over the course of thousands if not millions of years. After erupting a volcano may go dormant for a few years or event a few centuries, but it is not dead and in nearly all cases activity will eventually resume. As once example, the volcano at Yellowstone has not had a magmatic eruption in 70,000 years, but it is still monitored for activity as magma is present beneath it.
When a volcano erupts and your near it you can feel the earth moving so you think its an earthquake but pretty soon you can see the smoke. Now when your far away depending on how strong the movement was you might feel some shaking.

Before a volcano erupts, there is normally an increase in earthquakes, you might see some volcanic ash come out, you might see an increase in gas or steam around the volcano, and you might see a change in height or shape of the land around the volcano.

Harry, Rachel, Graham and Lauren see the maintain explode and head for the unstable mine
Volcano are natural disaster , Volcano is a opening in the earth or crust surface which gives a hot magma, volcanic ash. This Volcano are mostly seen in Philippines which has 33 historical eruption a island near middle of Taal Lake is pron to many volcano .Pictures of volcano is available in net you would see how it erupts and destroys the land near it.
Before a Volcano "erupts" the mountain and surrounding areas will experience seismic activity (Earthquakes) for hours, days, weeks and even months before the initial eruption. Also Vulcanologist monitor gas emissions from the volcano to see if there is a build up gas. And of course there many be some steam/smoke coming from the volcano (Does not have to be from the cone of the volcano, can be from vents on the side or further down the volcano!) In the case of Mt St Helens - A "DOME" appeared on the side of the mountain, this was a build up of Magma further down the mountain slope in which grew larger by the day until the initial and catastrophic eruption.

you wouldn't be alive to see it as the deadly gas rising from it would kill you before it went bang. even if you did mangage to live till the bang you wouldn't see much becuz of all the smoke. it would be like you in AA house fire while an earth quake was happening. but what would be happening is that the molten rock is melting under pressure and it tips over the sides as the pressure is an uprising force
Lava flow is hot flowing lava that goes on for miles and destroys everything in its way.well, almost everything. It is actually masses of molten rock that can pour from a volcano during an eruption. It bulldoses practically everything in its path!
Yellowstone is a volcanic caldera and everything that you see from mud pots, geysers, and steaming hot pools are from the volcanic activity. It is just one huge volcano and if it ever erupts several states will be in trouble.
