well for starters dont turn on your phone, once you have you may have fried it.
so if you didnt try turning on your phone yet, place your phone in a bag of rice. leave it in over night. of course take out the battery and and everything, make sure everything is covered with rice. good luck!
Rice prevents bits of moisture, it will not dry out the drenched phone sufficiently enough to make it work again. It only takes a fraction of a second for any moisture to penetrate a crack in a mobile phone casing, and that the phone is turned on, water being a conductor of electricity, will short out all electrical connections and render the phone useless. No amount of rice can undo an electrical short.
No
I never washed my phone but a friend of mine dropped her phone in a sink full of water. To fix it she took out the battery and then put her phone in a bowl of dry white rice overnight. The rice absorbed all of the water from her phone and it turned on. Its worth a try.
Take it out of the water immediately. Dry it off as much as you can. Stick it in a bag or jar of rice overnight to absorb the water. See if it works in the morning. If it doesn't work you'll have to get a new phone. Most plans don't cover water damage.
no i dont think so because it got wet sorry
YES!!! It does! I dropped my Samsung Rogue in a glass of ice water and thought it was ruined! I read to put it in a container with rice and a tight lid and let it sit for about 3 or 4 days! I did this! Phone now works as good as new!
Yes you can! Put it in rice. I know that might sound weird but put it in Rice. Take out the battery and put it rice. All the way under. Leave it in for about 1 1/2 hours. Take it out. Put it back together. Then if it still doesnt work i dont know what to tell you. But i dropped my phone in the pool then put it in rice. If your phone was in water for a long period it probably wont work., But if it was in there for a short period then it should work.
well you have to wait for a few days because the battery gets muddy sooo let the battery cool and it will work make sure though you put it in rice witch will absorb the muddy water from your phone
You should take it completely apart and let it air dry, besides that all you can do is get a new phone. In addition, Your phone is electronic. Water shorts out the circuits and permanently damages it to the point of being non-repairable. I now have a water resistant phone that will work after being submerged for up to 30 minutes. My last three phones were destroyed by water. First by washing the car, second by my wife washing my phone while it was in my pocket via the washing machine and the third I dropped in the river.
try charging it. then if that does not work put it in the oven at 150 degrees for two minutes.
You turn it on :)
With any device as such you should take out the battery and put both the battery and phone in a bag of rice for AT LEAST a day. Then, try again. If it doesn't work...you're SOL.
