You should take it completely apart and let it air dry, besides that all you can do is get a new phone.
In addition, Your phone is electronic. Water shorts out the circuits and permanently damages it to the point of being non-repairable. I now have a water resistant phone that will work after being submerged for up to 30 minutes. My last three phones were destroyed by water. First by washing the car, second by my wife washing my phone while it was in my pocket via the washing machine and the third I dropped in the river.
