No vitamin C does not work directly, because Methylphenidate's chemical structure does not interact with the serotonin receptors of the brain like amphetamine based stimulants do, but rather interact with the dopamine receptors directly. But, if the pill was swallowed then Vitamin C will break it down faster, which will not counteract the effects, but rather increase the intensity of the effects, but shorten the length of time the effects will take place. Truthfully there is no counteracting vitamin that I am aware of you can take. B12 and Potassium(Bananas, mangos, Blueberries), Vitamin C and plenty of water will cause the body to break it down faster, but that is all.
false
You will get the same effects as someone with ADD/ADHD. It is a stimulant and will most likely give you a euphoria, focus, motivation etc... Adderall is way better BTW.
nope. it heaps stabilise the brain cells which is why it's used to help treat epilepsy (as a mild sedative). it's found in energy drinks to counteract the effects of the caffeine (jitters) etc.
Because caffeine is a stimulant, it will exacerbate the stimulant side effects of Daytrana - for example, it could cause the heart rate to increase, anxiety, nervousness, or increased blood pressure. Because Daytrana is a controlled release medication, the side effects may not be as prominent as with an immediate release drug (such as regular Ritalin), still probably best to keep caffeine at a minimum when taking any ADHD medication.
No
Wieght loss can occur whilst taking Ritalin as it is a stimulant and one of the side effects is a loss of appetite, so in some people whilst they are on Ritalin they do not feel as hungry and do not eat as much and thus loose weight. If Ritalin is abused then appetite is rapidly decreased which can lead to a large loss of weight similar to someone who abuses amphetamines or methemphetamine.
The effects of alcohol are a general stimulant of the functions of the brain and body.
they counteract the effects of the neurohormone acetylcholine.
No. Paracetamol=Acetaminophen=Tylenol. Has no stimulant or depressant side effects.
