First you need:
1. gloves
2. scissors (sanitary ones)
3. peroxide or rubbing achole
4. ointment (neusborn best)
5. stitching needle and thread (embroiderer thread recommend)
6.vet at hand (if possible)
7. washed hands
Now to do the procedure:
First you need to cut all the hair around the wound. If its pussing or bleeding use a towel to suppress the wound or stop the bleeding, to do this use pressure and wait 2 to 5 minuets for bleeding to stop. Then clean it with the peroxide. Lets it socke in, if theres a scab soc it with warm water and peroxide and slowly peel it off and then clean it out. Remember this might be painful so be very slow when you peel if off. Be sure to be wearing your gloves while doing this. Now if the wound is open use the rubbing achole to nub it and use the thread and needle to sew it up. Have your vet do this or have the family sewer or a person who sews to sew it back up. Now take it to the vet and see if your pet will be ok.
Hope this helped good luck =3
