US: They can report you as a runaway and the police will look for you and take you home. Anyone helping you will be charged for aiding a runaway.

UK: In the UK you can legally move out at 16 without parental consent, as long as you are in a good environment, goes to school, work etc. If you do not they can force you back home with a court order and help by the police. You are still a minor in the eyes of the law.
