97 Toyota camry takes that kind of bulb. I'm sure others do too but I don't know any others for sure
No
Sylvania (or Osram Sylvania) is a developer of innovative lighting. They carry lighting for industrial or home use, for automotive purposes and much more.
No
your face but hole
Sometimes yes and sometimes no. If the bulb numbers match (such as a common 1157 turn/stop bulb), then they are completely interchangeable. If they don't match, they probably are not interchangeable, since automobiles typically use 12 volt batteries and at least some motorcycles use 6 volt batteries. Also, many bulbs use unique bases that will only allow them to be used in the correct socket.
Since most brake/turn use the same filament in the bulb(1157) then if the turn signal switch is bad or offset then it will effect the brake lights.
sylvania silver star lights or actual hid lights will give you a blue look
Yes if it is a 12 volt DC bulb.
Although not specified in the question, I'll assume you meant the low beam headlight bulb. If so, it could be one of two types, depending on what was installed at the factory for your particular model. Most of the Passats use the H7 (55 watt) halogen bulb. Others with the HID/Xenon option use the D2SHID (12v35w) bulb. (Just in case you were looking for the high beam bulb, it would be the H7). If your car uses the H7 style bulb, you can get a standard/factory version (they cost about $12-16, depending on where you buy, what brand, etc.) Or you can choose to upgrade to something like a "Cool Blue", or Sylvania Silverstars for a whiter, brighter light. Those run about $25-30 per bulb. In contrast, the D2S high-intensity discharge/xenon bulbs run well over $100 per bulb.
just change your car bulb,if you want to change your car bulb,i think you can use led car light, but expect headlight, because of brightness, with differernt socekt, you can choose the differernt type.
yes they are the same (See Answer)the bulbs 1157 are the same bulb as the 2057 just different wattage (both are 12 volts as the majority if not all cars use a 12V system ;) ).. in my case i used a 1157 led bulbs in my 2057 Chevy beretta tail/turn lights.... to make my led lights to work all i needed was a diff flasher.... figured it out i just need a new flasher (elecetronic flasher)Part number..Bussmann flasher BP/232 replaces flasher 552 then you are able to put leds bulbs in the tail/turn lights.. NO they are not ALL the same! Case in point: Some manufacturers, Pilot from experience, claim their amber repla1157 LED replaces the 2057 amber specifically in a C4 Corvette front turn signal. However the locking tabs on the side of the bulb are at the same height on the Pilot bulb rather than different heights on the bulb so they do not lock into the GM bulb socket. It may flash and work temporarily...until it rattles out of the socket.1157 has 3cp and 2057 has 2cp* - I would like a clarification of what 3cp & 2cp mean.....The 1157 & 2057 bulbs ARE a direct swap, have the same number of contacts and filaments......not counting an aftermarket LED bulb which may have been produced/labeled improperly. From my information the 2057 has a slightly brighter brake illumination. That is only difference.cp = candle power, the more candle power the brighter the light and the more heat it gives off, ever see melted lenses from incorrect bulbs?
Which one? Headlamp=9007 turn signal= 3157 backup/3rd brake=921 dome light=12100 plate light=194 brake=1157 trunk light=158 rear turn=1156
