well the calibra 4x4 turbo has one.
Its just a gearbox code, F20 is usually paired with the C20XE engine found in Astra GSi, 16v Calibra's, Cavailers in the 80's and 90's. Smaller engines cars had the F16 and the Calibra and Cav Turbo had the F28. If u add a zero to the number this is an appox as to the amount of torque the box can take. So F20 would be around 200ftlb of torque and the F28 280ftlb. Migweb is a good forum for vauxhall research.

Panhard et Lavassor and Emile Levassor in 1894 invented the gearbox in 1895. By 1904, the gearbox was commonly used in cars as manual transmission became favored.

No but the F1 cars have a flappy paddle gearbox.
use the cars gearbox or use more force to push it
To create a smooth transition between the rotation of the engine to the gearbox.
Of course you can, in fact the best towing cars are automatic
yes it will any saxo/pug gearbox will fit but putting a 1.4 gearbox on a 1.1 will slow the car down as the gear ratio's in the 1.4 gearbox are longer meaning your cars acceleration will be affected
it means your washers broken
Depends. On newer cars it's usually a pick-up that protrudes into the gearbox/transmission. Old cars might have a mechanical drive off a wheel.
Manual gears are more versatile than an automatic gearbox
