They were in an empire of 15,000 Native Americans who knew that the fort was built on the worse land in the area. The greatest impact on the Native Americans was when the English farmers arrived. This was environmental terrorism and the most dangerous of the imported insects was the honey bee. The putting up of Fencing and chopping down trees also changed the environment soon the Native Americans were loosing land and crops because the colonists animals were going into their planted crops. If they killed the animal they were fined for the animal and any offspring it may have. Not only were they affected by the environmental problems, but they were given diseases and discriminated against from the very start.
