I have a 97 escort lx wagon and recently I got the #4 cly. misfire after replacing the wires and plug's misfired again causing the check engine light to come on,had it checked at the auto parts store and got the #4 cyl. misfire.replaced the dist. cap.still had problems,took it to Bob Lees auto repair and the engine went south on a test drive.
