I have the same problem and got scared because i took the key out and thought the engine was still on, it means you left your air conditioning fan on, go inside and turn the ac fan off
wheel bearing?
The original Honda Accord security system uses basic anti-theft functions. If a vehicle is broken into the and attempted to be started the alarm will make noise and instill and starter-kill. This will stop the engine from starting.
A continuous thumping noise and floor shaking while driving on a 2000 Honda Accord could mean a loose exhaust system. It could also mean a bent frame or a broken spring.
The low humming on a 2005 Honda Accord could be one of several things. The most common source of a humming noise is a wheel bearing which may be coming loose. If the noise get louder over time the wheel bearings should be checked.
It depends on what is making the noise.
You are more than likely hearing the electric fuel pump running. If it is noisy then it will fail in short order.
A front or rear hub bearing assembly going bad could sound like that.
Remove the muffler
A leaking manifold seal on the intake will cause a popping noise on the 1996 Honda Accord. This can heard most clearly on days when the weather is cold because the seals tend to shrink.
If the alarm on a 2000 Honda Accord is randomly making noise there may be a problem with the wire harness. When the brain or siren has a short it will randomly make noise and sound off the alarm system in the car.
If the Honda Accord makes a groaning noise when reversing the can be caused by bad hub bearings. Hub bearings are what allow the car's wheels to spin, if gone bad they can cause wheels to come fully off the vehicle.
Possibly the lifters?!?
