bad spark plug, bad spark plug wire, spark plug gap out of specs..then maybe coil to the back 2 spark plugs. The thing i have found recently ,i guess because of age of vehicles, the valve cover inner gaskets leaking oil into spark plg tubes. this causes all kinds of wierd problems. If you pull out spark plug wire and it comes out all covered in oil ,that is your problem. of coures you could be having other issues with #4, but generally speaking, keep it simple, like tune up ,or compression test to find a leaking head gasket, etc.
A misfire on cylinder #4. See related questions.
try a tune up, make sure valve cover gasket is not leaking into #4 spark plug tube, check spark plug wires and coil.

I'm not a mechanic / technician but it might be the spark plug , spark plug wire , not the proper air / fuel mixture to that engine cylinder , and there are probably other causes
Last summer, the cylindars started to misfire on my 2002 lancer. Once the spark plugs were changed, I haven't had any more issues.
