A Siamese's fur is temperature sensitive. Colder parts of the body grow dark fur and warmer parts of the body grow light fur. If you move a Siamese that has lived in a cool climate (and therefore has dark fur) to a warm climate, its fur will shed as normal and eventually be replaced by light fur growing in its place. The only reason I can think for a Siamese's face mask to turn white is that its face was somehow a lot warmer than its legs or tail. I'm not sure how this can happen, but it may be something to check with the vet about, it could be a fever or something making its head hot.
I have no answer for this. That is why I am asking this question. Why does my Blue Point Siamese cat have a ridgeback? It's prominent all the time. What causes this? Is this normal for a cat? First time I've ever seen this.
The most intelligent breed of cat depends if you're talking about domestic cats or wild cats. If you're talking about domestic cats, the breed Siamese is the smartest. Looks- Most of their fur is a cream colour but if their older it goes more dark. They have a dark brown tail and dark brown tips on their ears, paws and going onto their nose. How to pronounce- The word Siamese is pronounced like this- s-i (the I is a long sound)- mea(like your starting the word meat)- then just se. Simease is how you pronounce it but Siamese is how you spell it. I'm sorry, but if you were asking about wild cats I don't know the answer. I think it is a tiger but you'll have to check to make sure.
Black is a color, not a breed. Many cat breeds can be black. Certain cat breeds come in specific colors such as Siamese, and they would not be black if they were purebred but any breed that comes in various colors could be black. Siamese cats are also a tabby variety of solid clors and the tortoise shell. Any Siamese is a tabby, but not all tabby's are Siamese.
Yeah of course. Well most are...there are a few that are "naked", like the Siamese
One of the most popular breeds is the Siamese cat. Its eyes are deep blue, ithas a long, kinky tail, and its fur is short and cream to buff in color. ...www.answers.com/topic/cat
It is really fluffy and has lots of colors on it like brown, grey, black, and white.
You probably mean a blue eyed cat, because Ocelots are the cat found in jungle biomes, that have yellow fur with black and brown dots, and green eyes. When you tame one with a couple of raw fish, there are three different types of cat that it can turn into:- Tabby (Orange with green eyes)- Tuxedo (Black with green eyes)- Siamese (White with dark faces, paws, and tail. Has blue eyes)The Siamese cat is the only one with blue eyes, so the only way to get one it to keep taming Ocelots untill you get one!
This usually means it's a Siamese cat. I know Siamese have brown in their fur as well, but if their young, it will take some age for the brown to appear. If it's not a Siamese cat, it could also mean the cat is more likely to be deaf.
Probably not. Most Siamese cats are not pure white, but cream-colored patched with brown on their ears, face, tail, and legs. However, Siamese kittens are born pure white and get their brown markings later. If it's fur is long, it is probably a Persian or Turkish Angora.
Some interesting qualities of the Himalayan cat are its long fur and 'flat' or pushed-in face. The breed also comes in many points- certain colors. The points are chocolate point, flame point, tortie-cream point, lilac point, blue point, seal point, and much more. It was first 'produced' in the 1950s, when crossing a Siamese cat with a Persian cat.
First. Let the two cats stay together. Then after a few days keep an eye on them. If you see them sitting together, Brushing fur together, eating together and so on, They will probably start mating!!
