Poor quality fuel. You are actually hearing detonation. The lower the octane, the more explosive the fuel. Higher octane fuel burns more slowly and evenly.
Depending on how old your car it, it could also be worn out engine journal bearings.
Try better fuel for a starter and see it that helps. If there is also knocking sounds, it is certainly poor fuel.
The velocity of a car - or of any object for that matter - can only be changed as a result of a force applied to the car. ======================== On pressing the accelerator the pistons in the engine starts to move faster which accelerates the rotating gears attached to the wheels thus making the wheels rotate faster pushing the car's velocity up.
Driving a manual car involves several fundamental steps. Firstly, ensure the car is in neutral by pressing the clutch pedal and shifting the gear stick to the middle position. Start the engine and gradually press the clutch while shifting the gear stick into first gear. Slowly release the clutch while gently pressing the accelerator to start moving. To change gears, lift off the accelerator, press the clutch, shift to the desired gear, and then release the clutch while gradually applying the accelerator again. Rem
because the engine and gears are still in flex mode.
Mechanical failure and lack of proper lubrication is what causes the banging of gears in VW Touareg.
You have eight running gears, and an auxiliary gearbox effectively allowing you to split the gears. For the running gears, go to a truck driving school - you're not going to learn how to shift an unsychronized transmission by just reading about it. For the gear splitting, you put the splitter (on the side of the transmission) to the desired postion (forward to increase the ratio, rearward to decrease it), let off the accelerator, pause for a second, then get back on the accelerator. If you don't know what you're doing, DO NOT split the bottom gears - you can tear those up very easily.
vehicle wise, a clutch is to help you change gears and the accelerator is to accelerate the vehicle in the preferred direction (forwards/ Backwards). in a car the clutch is normally the foot pedal on the left and the accelerator is on the right. Both of the pedals are on either side of the break.
Perhaps you are not easing off on the accelerator when using the clutch. you would get this from a worn clutch .
yes it can run safely provided you can control the speed with accelerator and gears.
There can be several causes for the gears in a Mercedes A160 automatic gearbox to slip and not shift up to higher gears. One of the main causes is a leak in the intake. This could be a leak from a connection, or even a case of the intake bolts not tightened enough.

what causes my thunsercat to jerk in all gears on a steady throttle?
One of the most common causes of gears in a Mercedes Benz A class 160 automatic gearbox to slip and not shift up to higher gears is a bad transmission. If the transmission is failing, or not working properly, you won't get the gears to shift up.
