A few things could be causing a grinding sound when turning. It could be a cv axle, ball joint, tie rod end, or bracket pin steering.
bad brakes.
The cause of the squealing sound is because you are turning the steering wheel completely to the right or left
CV Joint going out
Check the drive axle for a broken and leaking boot or bad CV joint.
A loose or worn belt. Also check the power steering fluid.
Answeri had that same thing on my explorer, especially in colder months. it was the a ball joint that had busted. basically had no grease and the metal was rubbing against metal making the creaking sound.
one possible cause is a bad wheel bearing one that wheel. it will allow the wheel to lean excessivly when turning. I've had this happen on my jeep several times.
if it has cv joints look into them
Could be the CV joint is dry or has failed.
a dog
could be your steering is messed up for the turning. but for the transmission you could have blown piston
Because you drove up the left or right sidewalk.
