The power steering pump is held on by 2 bolts which are accessed through holes in the pulley. The bolts are on the top and bottom of the power steering pump. You will need to use and socket extension or deep socket. Go to napaonline.com and search for 1998 olds Intrugue then power steering pump to get a view of what it looks like (the picture shows the pump rotated on its side).
Clean the power steering are real good check for where the leak is coming from and go from there. For example if a hose is leaking replace hose, if power steering pump seals are leaking replace pump, exc.
If you mean where does the fluid go, in to the power steering pump reservoir. It's near the front on drivers side with a belt around the pump pulley, look for a cap with "USE ATF" or "USE GENUINE FORD POWER STEERING FLUID"
front right hand top side, has a belt drive, look for the hoses that go from the power steering fluid reservoir to the pump just a short distance away. the air conditioning compressor is below the power steering pump.
