Well...there are a few possible reasons.

If it is cool outside, frogs may find there way in looking for a warm place to stay.

If you leave a door open, a frog might just hop right through without realizing its mistake--they're not necessarily that smart...

A frog searching for water could end up in the Plumbing, and from there come out into your toilet...I know it sounds odd, but from the search results I'm getting while looking for more information, it sounds like this is common enough to be true.

Frogs can apparently squeeze through small cracks and holes in walls and floors and so on, so that's a way they can get in.

So, while I'm not sure frogs are intelligent enough to have a real intent for going into houses, usually they're looking for warmth or a sunny spot on a cold day, coolness or shade on a hot day, or some water if there's not much around, or just a hiding place....often, they probably end up trapped inside just by accident.

How do frogs get into a house?

It means that you've either left your door open or there is a large gap under it. Frogs prefer cool damp conditions and it probably entered your house because the gap under your door looked like a gap under a rock, which is the sort of place that frogs tend to find to get away from bright sunlight and predators.
