It could be one out of a hundred reasons or a combination of part or all of them. Basically, it could be because the hotel itself does not meet customer expectations. It could be because employees lack good organizational, management, and customer service skills therefore not meeting the needs, wants, and desires of the guests.

How has customer service changed?

It has changed in many ways. We now live in a generation where many people do not want to work. They rather live off welfare then grow up and get a job. If a person doesn't want to work in the first place how can there customer service be good. I am constantly blown away by the employees at so many large fast food chains and walmart. Walmart hires more ex convicts then any other store and has had more money stolen from there employees than any other company. Customer service has changed because managers simply hire people they are friends with now and don't care if they are a hard worker or not. People used to be polite and have manners. Now they lack energy and don't have enough willpower to do anything.
