Oil in the distributor.
Remove the plug in the center of the cover plate. Squirt oil in until level with bottom of hole.Remove the plug in the center of the cover plate. Squirt oil in until level with bottom of hole.

A leaking gasket, a leaking filter, or a leaking drain plug....
not enough oil in the engine.
could be burning either gear oil, or motor oil. check for leaks and replace gear oil
probly a bad oil pump
When you squirt a drop of dishsoap into the oil spill, the oil will move away quickly, but eventually, the oil will spread back.
You need to tell us what the fault is. If the locks have become difficult to turn with the key (as Ford locks do) then just squirt some Duck Oil (Duck Oil is now a Swarfega brand) into them. A squirt of Duck Oil will also stop your locks from freezing up in the Winter.
If I'm not mistaken you have to get underneath to change it. Should be a cap underneath it.
