I have a similar noise, almost like a dragging sound or like the tires are over-inflated. When I was washing the car I noticed the entire plastic wheel well on the dirver side was missing. It apparently got ripped right off by something kicked up on the road. I think the noise is simply normal tire sound that is not being blocked out because of the missing plastic. Could be a few things: 1) If the noise goes away after driving a bit, it's just dirt or rust on your pads/rotors. 2) If the noise gets higher when applying your brake, it means your pads are worn. 3) If the noise persists at higher speeds, it could be a pebble or something lodged between your pads and rotor. Or it can be the metal dust flap touching the rotor. If problem persists, you should take it to a mechanic.
