A failing throttle position sensor is a common cause for idle speed fluctuations on a Jeep 4.7L.
Replace The Radiator Cap. Sounds as If This Is The Problem. GOOD LUCK WITH THAT

1) the engine oil level is low 2) the engine oil is old - making it very thin, especially after the engine warms up. Likely the oil light is doing its job and calling your attention to the level and condition of the engine oil.
Could be a tired power steering pump.
Sounds like a fan belt. Have it checked. or an sai motor
Possibally stuck lifters?

could be bad mounts on either the tranny or engine?
Most likely mapp sensor top of air cleaner
check your engine for a cracked manifold (covering of the engine parts and cylinders. also look for any exhaust leaks. it sounds like the exhaust noise isn't making it to the muffler as it should and instead is coming from the engine directly.
I have been told that this problem likely comes from some type of vacuum leak and that as the engine warms, the leak seals itself off. What I haven't been able to find out is what is the most likely source of the leak. Any one have suggestion?
Gm used a short piston skirt on this year. The knock is piston slap that normally goes away when engine warms up. Sounds bad, but should not cause any problems.
