A short somewhere along your electrical system.
Or a faulty battery.
Next time you come in from a drive, disconnect your battery from the car, leave it off for greater than 5 hours.
Then re-connect your battery after 5hrs time and see if the car will start.
If the car starts then your battery is OK and you will have to trace the short in your electrical system.
If the car doesn't start then buy a new battery and you're good to go.
pcm or crank sencer
I do not know for sure, but i have a 1999 galant and we had to fix the transmission neutral switch on it. it was about $65 dollars and the car runs great now. I guess it is a common problem with these cars. hope this helps.
A clogged fuel filter can cause a Mitsubishi Galant to idle rough for the first 10 minutes it is running and then it runs fine after that. A fouled spark plug can also cause this issue.
Bad battery? Bad Voltage regulator Disconnect the - battery terminal Install a test lamp between the - battery terminal and - battery cable--if light lights there is an extreme parasitic load on battery Remove 1 fuse at a time from the fuse block until the light goes out. This will at least tell you which circuit needs further investigation
this is caused by the sensor tripping in the light sensor to see what causes this you must diagnose it with a computer and see what fails in it.
you need to install new valve cover gasket set.the doughnut gaskets are leaking into sparkplug tubes, get fixed immediately, can cause serious damage if not corrected soon !
P0135 on Mitsubishi galant 2003 Definition: HO2S 11 Heater condition (Heated Oxygen Sensor Bank 1 Sensor 1) Explanation: The powertrain control module monitors the oxygen sensor heater. The computer has recognized a failure in this ciricuit. Probable Causes 1. -Oxygen sensor defective 2. -Poor connection at oxygen sensor 3. -Check circuit-fuse
Your computer has detected a problem with the emmissions control system that is affecting the way your engine runs, have it checked with an OBDII code reader, many parts stores will do it for free and it will tell you what needs attention.
Its hard to tell whats wrong with it. If you have a automatic gearbox then try to change the filter, which tells the car on what gear it suppost to be. If you have a manual then it may be something with your engine. It could be the candles or another part which causes your car to run on maybe 2 or 3 cilenders. You should visit a Mitsubishi servis.
lots of causes: -battery might be dead... try to jump start it... if it starts... change the battery(most common problem) -no more gasoline -dead fuel pump -clogged fuel line -dead starter etc...
