It would usually consist of pressure and if there is a hot spot under the volcano. There are also many different types of volcanoes and it would also depend on the type it is. For example the dome volcano just makes a hot air looking balloon type of thing.
How the volcano explodes: There is a rock in the volccano called ignious and inside the volcano is lava. When the temperature get very high the lava turns into magma and when the magma touches the rock it has a reaction of some kind that makes the volcano explode when it gets to hot
The main causes of volcanoes to erupt is the movement of plate tectonics. This opens up a vent on the surface of the earth through which the magma from the crust of the earth is discharged.
Volcanoes explode or erupt when pressure from in the earth reaches a point when it can't be held, therefore spewing magma into the air.
no
Um...they explode and kill people...
That term is 'calderas'

No. The Earth won't "explode"! Volcanoes relieve pressure over relatively small areas, but the planet's Crust and interior as a whole are basically in equilibrium.
no
yes
volcanoes are mountthat explode lava
The phrase "explode slowly" is an oxymoron. Composite volcanoes, regardless of whether they are island volcanoes or mainland volcanoes, will produce both explosive and non-explosive eruptions.
no they dont occur
Um...they explode and kill people...
That term is 'calderas'
Weather has no effect on the explosive properties of volcanoes.
because japans volcanoes explode. So therefore, the magma does not flow down the volcano making it flat and smooth.
They do! Check out the Volcanoes State Park at Kilauea on the Big Island. They have volcanoes that have been going for 30 years now.
