could be where your power steering fluid is cold and thick
Gas Lid not tight is the reason my eng. Light keeps coming on
Does it do it in neutral when you rev the engine up... if so it's the power steering pump...
not sure what the experts say but .i just put in jasper motor at 112000.
its not working properly ...should bought a ford
the whining noise is probably your passenger whining about the stupid questions you ask
If this whining or humming is out of the ordinary, it's probably a bearing or bushing on the belt assembly that's wearing out.
Check the power steering pump for the cause of the noise. I sounds like the pump is causing the whining and is either low on fluid or possibly going bad.
check your coolant... then go see a professional
quite possibly the A/C compressor clutch. The whining should decrease when the A/C is turned off. You will still hear some of the noise due to the clutch turning while the engine is on.
A whining sound coming from the front of the engine would make me think one of the bearings is wearing out in the belt assembly. This is something you should fix promptly.
It could be incorrect air passage over the engine, from a tired fan belt or from the air from the fan or could be dirt in the brake pads. Best to seek the advice of a qualified mechanic.
