Two things can cause white smoke. 1. Burning oil either from bad rings, bad valve seals, bad head gasket 2. Coolant getting into the combustion chamber through cracked head, block or bad head gasket. This can be checked by putting a preasure tester on the coolant system and doing a leakdown test to see if it will hld pressure. Also go to the tail pipe and smell the fumes. Anti freeze usually emits a sweet smell. Are you addding oil or coolant frequently? If so the one you are adding most is usually the culprit
Internal engine antifreeze leak.
