to many plugs in at once or old circuits ECT.
Yes. Bad wiring can make any fuse blow
There must be a short in the system somewhere that causes the fuse to blow.
as close to the battery as possible, that way if the power cable shorts on the frame somewhere, it will blow the fuse, if it was near the amp, it would not blow the fuse, and the cable could possibly start burning!!!!
i believe it's in the fuse box by the battery tray, disconnect the battery before tampering with the fuses, they could blow if you remove them while the battery is connected, as for which fuse, the inside of the lid on the fuse box should have a diagram of which fuse powers what
The fuse regulates the power that is sent from the battery to the motor and if there is a surge in power then the fuse will blow and save your motor. This is usually caused by a battery with weak charge or one that has been overcharged.
change alternater first, then ecm blowed
This is the starter fuse I am talking about. It doesn't blow every time. It might go weeks before it blows again.
the fuse regulates the voltage that comes back from the alternator to the battery and system without it you push to much power to the system and it will turn on your battery light and possibly blow your battery and ect....
try disconnecting the neg. battery term. first
Yes, loose battery terminals can potentially cause a blown fuse. When the connection is not secure, it can create intermittent electrical contact, leading to voltage spikes or fluctuations. These irregularities may result in excessive current flow, which can overload the circuit and blow a fuse as a protective measure. Regularly checking and tightening battery connections can help prevent this issue.
