Digestive system
i think it just expels it from its body
the food becomes nutrients and undigested food becomes a waste............... :D
Breathing involves getting oxygen into your system and it expels carbon dioxide, which is a waste.
only one opening at the mouth which both takes in food and expels waste.
ALL living organisms need energy in some form.
Waste
Fiber
the waste has nutrients in it that help the plant
Euglena performs photosynthesis inside chloroplasts.
The waste is returned to the soil as nutrients.
The smaller the cell the higher the surface area is relative to the volume. A cell needs to have sufficient size to contain all necessary components and optimize it's ability to maintain a steady state, but cell efficiency depends on maximizing access to nutrients and minimizing the time it takes the cell to expel waste.
