A 1947 Chevy
Yes, It will fit right on there.
Nothing without fabrication involved.
I have a 1948 Chevy coupe chassis very solid and with the shell, running engine, tranny, and rear all connected.321-514-2934
Yes. Chris Alston, at Alston Chassis Works, makes a kit, with everything you need.
Yes. The firebird and camaro use the same chassis. Use mounts and headers for a camaro, and you'll be all set.
no
The answer is yes it will fit, but it is generally a bad idea because of the need to rebuild the body mounts an the close structural relationship of the 47 body and frame. Please contact me via email at patodd@swbell.net for more information. I have a 1947 2dr Sedanet that I am transplanting on to a 1994 Roadmaster chassis which is very much like the 93 Cadillac. I am clipping the front and rear ends and attaching them to the 47 frame.
No it won't fit properly. You need a 1996-2006 chassis to use for the 2004 bady.
Yes. A gto is pretty much the same chassis as a chevelle, which was available with a 396, which is the same size and weight as a 454.
will a 1973 ford f-2504x4 chassis fit a 1979 f-250 4x4
One that I've seen used several times is a late model S10 chassis. Haven't done it myself but it sure looks like a near perfect setup.
Most Chevy/GMC rearends will fit as long as they are the same series, 1500/2500/3500, but the most important thing is you MUST find one that has the same gear ratio as your front axle. Also look at Suburbans, similar chassis.
