conditions of Germany before World War 2Well first off the conditions were horrible, Germany was in debt since they were blamed for the cause of WWI. For this they had to repay 35 billion dollars in reperations. Also the Treaty of Versailles pretty much screwed Germany over. They lost 10% of their land, all of their oversea colonies, couldn't have their army go over 100,000 men, and couldn't import or export any weapons. The people of Germany were in dire need of someone with an answer. That's where the Nazi's come in. They had answers for the time in need. With weak people and with an even weaker economy the nazi party and Hitler rose to power with no problem.

The NAZI party flourished in Germany in the 1920s and later. After the end of World War One, Germany was brutally hit by massive reparations in the Treaty of Versailles, disarmament, deep economic depression, runaway inflation, poverty and even starvation. The German mark notes of the Weimar Republic were more worthless than toilet paper. People had to use a wheelbarrow full of money to get a loaf of bread. There was also a dangerous vacuum of power in Germany, and communists were trying to take everything over. There was a disorganized mishmash of small political parties popping up all over like weeds, each with their own solution to Germany's ills. One of those parties was a small, obscure group called the National Socialist German Workers Party (NSDAP). Hitler was assigned by the German army after WW1 to attend meetings of these various groups and to report on them. He ended up joining this party, eventually took it over, and turned it into the party that consumed Germany and plunged Europe into WW2. There is a lesson in here...

After WW1 & Due to the Treaty Of Versailles ( a treaty blaming Germany for everything and taking away their military and making them pay for all war damages ) the economy went down the drain. Hitler was great at speeches and talked about hope making the Germans have hope and believing Hitler can make a better Germany. He created Nazi's to follow him & since Hitler became popular even before he was named Führer ( ruler ) because he was an excellent speaker. So he made Nazi's and all children in school were taught to praise Hitler and to support him. I hope this helps!

No, "existed" is not a standalone word. It is the past tense of the verb "exist" which means to have objective reality or to be present or alive.
