In Rochester NY and among those voting was Susan B, Anthony. She was a registered voter who voted on 5 November 1872 and on 28 Noverember the registrars and 15 women were arrested. Anthony refused to pay bail but was not jailed. She was found guilty and fined $100 which she refused to pay. Again she was not jailed.
