probably an anatomy/phsyiology couse and an early childhood course. that's what im going to take and I want to be a pediatric Neurologist. same with my bff conor and he's becoming a pediatric oncologist

∙ 15y agoI've never heard of an "oncologist" degree. Maybe you mean advanced study in oncology for someone who has alread earned an M.D. degree at a medical school. By the way, do you know what oncology is? (Answer: cancer).

ADVANCED (college level) courses in BIOLOGY, ANATOMY, CHEMISTRY, MATH, PHYSICAL CHEMISTRY, PHARMACOLOGY; ANY AND ALL classes related to science, at the highest level your school offers..Much later in college you will take classes specifically aimed at the specialty of oncological medicine.

∙ 11y agoYou should take classes such as Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and Latin you should learn latin because doctor prescriptions are written in latin but it all depends on what mind of doctor you want to be!

You can definitely get into a good medical school with a bachelor's in mechanical engineering. Though most people who attend medical school have either biology or chemistry majors, it doesn't say anywhere you have to. As an example, my undergrad was in physics. The only caveat to that is you have to take a certain list of classes in order to apply to medical school. This list is basically the same for all med schools that I know of. If I remember correctly, there is only a handful of those classes, and the rest can be anything you want.
