They wear a long dress that touches the ground, an apron, if the dress doesn't touch the ground then get an apron that touches the ground but if the dress does touch the ground get a apron any size, they also would were a hat not any kind of hat but a bonnet, they also were black tacky shoes (get something comfortable). I know this because in 5th grade we did a colonial day project and i was a potter and trust me the clothes make a big difference in the grade. I wore what i told you and got a A+ but remember you also have to do a good job on the project!
