Technically you can't make red. It is a primary color in the process of color creation by passing light through the result. You can't make primary colors by mixing 2 other colors. Though you can mix hot pink and orange to get something close to red

For blood red color you must mix any "normal" red color (Deep Red, Crimson, Cadmium Red, etc. ) and brown (Burnt Umber is the best choice though it can be any "warm" brown). You can also add very little Ochre or/and Black to get different shades. The trick is that when you try it on any white surface it must not get pinkish but brownish shades as blood gets when it dries.
Try experimenting with different amounts of mentioned colors. There should be the most red color in the mix obviously. And always try it on white surface (the whiter the better).
