I would try rubbing/massaging Vaseline all over the gloves and then place them in a zip lock bag for at least 24 hrs. Check and if not soft enough massage again and close the bag for another 24 hrs. When there soft enough, wipe off the excess and wrap each one in an old towel and continue to massage which will make them more pliable and help "soak" up any vaseline that's left. Do this on and off for the next day or so and this should do the trick. I did this to an old leather pouch that was so dried/stiff I thought it would never be pliable again. But now it's like new again. Good Luck...........Phil,

In a very large sense it is renewable because you can restore leather, returning it back to like new. Just as you can restore wood, you can also restore leather. That shabby leather couch may look new again with the proper restoration process. So, think of leather as "the new renewable."
