They go bad after awhile it's time to check all of your fuses to see what all needs to be replaced if you see more fuses blown check your local napa checker autozone or whatever auto parts store for replacements.

Check the wiring loom for the circuit involved. It is likely that it has chaffed against the frame and shorted to it.

What type of circuit fault is a blown fuse?

Circuit Condition Created by a "Blown" FuseA blown fuse creates an "open" circuit condition. It's the same as opening a switch [turning a switch to the off position].

What do tripped circuit breaker and blown fuses indicate?

Blown fuses indicate overload in the electrical circuit. Possible short-circuit or higher input voltage.Tripped circuit breakers I guess means:A residual-current device (RCD), similar to a residual current circuit breaker (RCCB) which is used for breaking the circuit when electric current pass through a man or could cause fire/burning in the/near the electrical sockets.

What is Xj6 jaguar Lightning symbol on the dash?

This indicates a fault with an electrical circuit (such as a blown fuse). On certain models, more information can be got from the Vehicle Condition Monitor (VCM) by pressing the vcm button on the dash.

How do you fix electrical problems in a 98 eclipse gst?

The repair of the electrical problem will depend on what the problem is. You will need to check for loose or shorted wires or blown fuses in the circuit giving the problem to start with.

What restricts the flow of energy?

You can change current by altering potential difference or resistance... But assuming the voltage is constant, the resistance of the circuit restricts the flow of electrical current.

Motorcycle has a knocking sound?

eather a blown head or a bad rod

Why doesn't a bulb light up when it is fused?

Either the bulb gets blown itself or the tungsten wire melts and opens the circuit, causing the light bulb to fuse.

Does a light fitting still use electricity if it's on but the bulb has blown?

No. The filament completes the circuit, so if the filament is blown the circuit is incomplete, so no electricity flows.

How do you reset the circuit breaker on the cigarette lighter on a 63 ford falcon?

It does not have a circuit breaker. It uses a fuse to protect the circuit. Look for a blown fuse in the fuse panel under the dash on the drivers side.I believe the cigarette lighter circuit is protected with a glass barrel fuse not a circuit breaker. Check the fuse box for a blown fuse.

Will a blown fuse cause the wipers not to work?

Only if the fuse protects the circuit that the wipers are on. If replacing the fuse does not solve the problem, check the replacement fuse; if it has also blown then you have a short circuit on that circuit and need to consult an auto electrician
