The US shares a strong historical and cultural connection with Europe. Most people in the US can trace their ancestry to Europe and the culture of the US is highly European influenced. The US and Europe, put together, are virtually unstoppable as they form the world's largest superpower (the US is the only superpower, alone however). The US and Europe have fought together in countless wars, given countless aid, and formed some of the most powerful organizations.
