Is it bogging down? if thats what your referring to, then maybe try a fuel pump if yoir car has one.
Could be a very dirty fuel filter or incorrect fuel pressure.
If it only happens when you accelerate the most likely cause is an axle.
it is cauused by over accelaration during the car is in nutrule so if you accelerate at that point the cars belt will get old and it would proably that the reason you are getting a wretel in your car when you accelerate
you may have a rod knocking and you need to take it to a shop asap
the answer is that if you were going up a moantain on a high sloap and you were trying to pass someone you would press the button for that it kicks in a little bit more horse power and helps you gain a little speed and gets you a little more hoarse power
